All our accredited skills assessments are conducted by our trained SFIA Accredited Assessors. Our team were among the first individuals to become approved assessors worldwide. Our assessors are also SFIA Accredited Consultants with extensive experience in the use of SFIA.
SFIA Accredited Assessors are subject to specific requirements set out by the SFIA Foundation which include:
Must operate within the scope of a SFIA Foundation approved scheme.
Successful completed SFIA Foundation approved training for assessors.
Must demonstrate quality-assured assessment experience using SFIA.
Must follow a professional code of practice.
Accreditation is renewed annually and must include evidence of recent assessment experience and continuing commitment to the code of practice.
SFIA Foundation Endorsed Badges
The SFIA Foundation’s assessment scheme provides for 3 types of digital badges relating to SFIA professional skills.
Skill Competency
Skill Competency badges are evaluated through a skills assessment.
This rating indicates the individual has demonstrated competence in practicing the SFIA professional skill, and the SFIA generic attributes / behaviour factors at the level indicated in a real-world professional context.
These badges are red.
Skill Proficiency
Skill Proficiency badges are evaluated through a skills assessment.
This rating indicates the individual has demonstrated the SFIA professional skill, and the SFIA generic attributes / behaviour factors at the level indicated, but has not yet fully demonstrated full skill competency.
These badges are blue
Knowledge
Knowledge badges are not evaluated as part of a skills assessment.
Knowledge badges are issued for successful completion of a learning activity that has been assessed as demonstrating evidence of the knowledge expected for this professional skill, and the SFIA generic attributes / behaviour factors at the level indicated.
These badges are green.
